Cancer Awareness & Screening Camp

Nepal International Health Services (NIHS) successfully organized a free Cancer Awareness & Screening Camp, reaffirming our dedication to promoting early detection and preventive healthcare in the community. The event was held at Bishwojyoti Mall, Jamal, Kathmandu, and welcomed individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking expert medical guidance. Led by Dr. Samim Akhtar, Senior Consultant Oncologist (MBBS, MD Oncology), the camp provided free doctor consultations along with 50% discounts on essential diagnostic tests, including Vitamin Panel (D3, B12), Thyroid Function Test (TFT), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Random Blood Sugar, Urine Routine, and Ultrasound (Prostate). These services aimed to enable early detection of potential health concerns, particularly cancers, and encourage proactive health management. The program was supported by a team of skilled healthcare professionals, ensuring that each attendee received personalized attention and accurate medical advice. In addition to screenings, participants were educated on cancer prevention, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of regular health check-ups.
